Paint a Western Trucker Cap | 4:00 - 5:30 PM
Exhibit Hall, McKenzie County Ag Expo
Create your own masterpiece on a trucker cap with artist Morgan Wisness. Soak in the rodeo vibes, grab a drink at the bar and make your own fashion statement before the NDRA rodeo kicks off.

Bronc and bareback riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, steer roping, barrel racing, bull riding and a boot race for the kids make up this fun night of entertainment

A pony pull contest is a fast-paced, crowd-pleasing display of grit, heart, and surprising power. Working in synchronized pairs, these compact draft ponies dig in their hooves to haul heavily weighted sleds across a set distance, proving that explosive strength and determination come in every size
4th Annual Hansen Diesel and Automotive Car Show

A celebration of automotive history, design, and passion. Bringing together classic muscle, sleek modern supercars, and custom hot rods, this show offers enthusiasts and casual fans alike a chance to admire chrome, talk shop with dedicated owners, and soak in the rumble of fine-tuned engines

Draft Horse Competition | 12 pm
McKenzie County Ag Expo Outdoor Arena
A thrilling showcase of raw power, elegance, and agricultural heritage. Featuring massive breeds like Percherons, Clydesdales, and Belgians, this competition ranges from intense heavy-pulling contests to intricate hitch classes where multi-horse teams demonstrate precision maneuvers, synchronized grace, and sheer strength under the guidance of skilled drivers.

Glass Wildflower Sun Catcher Class

Join glass artist Kathy Monti for a special Wildflower Sun Catcher class. Pre-register or stop in the day of. Kathy will then take your creation back to her studio, fire it in the kiln and it will be available for pickup at the Long X Arts Foundation in Watford City when complete.

All are welcome to attend Cowboy Church, a unique, down-to-earth worship experience that strips away traditional formality in favor of community, country music, and authentic faith. Dress casually, enjoy donuts and coffee and live cowboy gospel music by Gene Veeder and friends.
