Shop and explore a variety of Western artists and makers, from leatherwork, painting, rope art, hat making, glass artists, pottery and more. Or get outfitted with our western stores and boutiques.

Cowboy Kid Zone| 5 - 9 PM
Exhibit Hall, McKenzie County Ag Expo
Bring your kiddo to Cowboy Bootcamp where they can dress like a cowboy, rope a steer, saddle a horse, ride the mechanical bull and pick out some fun cowboy gear and treats from the cowboy canteen!

Bring your kiddo to Cowboy Bootcamp where they can dress like a cowboy, rope a steer, saddle a horse, ride the mechanical bull and pick out some fun cowboy gear and treats from the cowboy canteen!

Mechanical Bull Riding Contest (Just for Fun) | 10:30 AM

Enter your kiddo for a chance to win prizes and ride the mechanical bull! Everyone gets a prize. Ages 0-15! $10 per child.

Mechanical Bull Riding Contest (For a Trophy!) | 11:00 AM

Can you stay on for 8 seconds? Enter to find out. The best score wins a trophy and a cash prize. Plus, cahs  prizes for 2nd and 3rd place in each age category.

Music by Kalyn Beasley | 3:30 - 4:30 PM
Exhibit Hall, McKenzie County Ag Expo
Kalyn Beasley is an acclaimed songwriter, storyteller, singer and musician. His 2022 album, ‘A Matter of Time’, was nominated for All Genre Album of the Year at the 2023 Josie Music Awards. The Wyoming Arts Council selected Kalyn as a recipient of the 2023 Performing Arts Fellowship, given annually to two Wyoming-based musicians. Kalyn’s songs are meticulously crafted narratives, with clever and infectious melodies and hooks. An authentic Westerner, his life as a cowboy, rodeo-hand, pilot, bookseller, and outdoorsman has furnished him with a novel palette from which he paints his songs and stories. Kalyn makes his home in the high, dry mountains of Northern Wyoming, land of geysers and grizzlies.

Glass Crazy Horse Ornament Making| 4:30 PM

Join glass artist Kathy Monti during the NDRA Rodeo's Wild Weekend and the Western Art and Cowboy Culture Gathering to create these unique horse-themed ornaments. 

Kathy will walk you through the techniques needed to work with glass to form the vibrant horse patterns out of color combinations of your choosing.

Live Band and Community Dance | 9:30 PM 
Featuring Kalyn Beasley and the Honkey Tonk Arcade

Exhibit Hall, McKenzie County Ag Expo 
Based out of Red Lodge, Montana, the band tours throughout the mountain west. The Honky Tonk Arcade has opened shows for Chase Rice, Josh Turner, Summer Dean, Futurebirds, The Devil Makes Three and multiple dates with Chancey Williams since forming in 2023. In 2024 the band won the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale Showcase competition and was awarded a spot on the main concert stage. One of the most exciting bands in the Mountain West, The Honky Tonk Arcade delivers an original blend of country, rock and blues with an energetic and engaging live show.
